What is the Brown & Gold PAC?
The Brown & Gold Public Affairs Committee is an independently registered 501(c)4 organization affiliated with Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. We are governed by an independent Board of Advisors.
Committee Mission Statement
The Public Affairs Committee is focused on supporting public policy and law that affirms, supports, and expands the citizenship rights of Iota members in accordance with the fraternity’s principles, and by extension residents of our community.
Theory of Change
The Brown and Gold PAC believes maximizing engagement in democratic institutions, participation in democratic processes, and community economic development are the pathways to full citizenship. We embrace voting, elective and appointed public office, volunteerism, and investment in business development as tools to improve and enhance the quality of life for Iotas and by extension our families and neighbors.
